In June 2009, after centuries of being legislated against, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller citizens from across Britain were invited into the corridors of power at the Parliamentary Estate and given a space to congregate and celebrate the Launch of GRTHM. The room was packed, the empowerment palpable.
